Retired Awantipora JE dies in Sangam accident | KNO

Srinagar, Jun 19 (KNO): A retired Junior Engineer died in a road accident at Sangam area of South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Thursday evening. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a road accident took place at Sether Sangam, near Water Point when an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13-4053. In the collision, the motorcyclist was identified as Ab Rashid Ganie, son of Gh. Mohd Ganie, resident of Hariparigam, Awantipora a retired junior engineer sustained critical injuries. He said that the injured was immediately shifted to SDH Bijbehara for initial treatment, however, doctors declared him brought dead. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started an investigation—(KNO)
